Success
in wedding and portrait photography is very much based
on the ability of the photographer to develop a relationship
with the customer and work with them through the planning,
shoot and product dev elopement. dScope provides wedding
and portrait photographers with tools to efficiently
manage the large number of images that are generated
in a shoot, and to work interactively with the customer
to create the product.
The
images from the shoot can be adjusted and managed very
quickly using the core module and proof sheets can be
created to allow the customer to peruse and evaluate
the images. The Combifit module can then be used to
develop album pages with a single print required for
each page. Within the combifit module pages can be created
at the appropriate size to match the chosen album. Pages
can then be created by dropping the images onto the
pages and moving them around as required. Images on
the page can be resized, zoomed and cropped and bordered.
Each page can use a selected image as a background or
a background colour can be chosen. Images can have borders
and drop shadows applied, and images can be overlapped
with a choice of which image overlays another.
Designs
created in the album page builder can also be saved
as templates which can be reused any number of times.
You can create a collection of page designs from with
the customer can choose, then sit with the customer
and decide which image will be placed into each "box"
to create the final product. At the end of the process,
the pages can be printed and quickly mounted into an
album as only one print needs to be mounted on each
page.
dScope
Online is also used by wedding and portrait photographers
to place images online and generate orders from friends
and families. This is especially valuable when there
are a large number of relatives and friends living remotely
or overseas. People anywhere in the world can access
the website, review the images and place orders. The
website area can be passworded to assure that the only
people able to access the images are those provided
with the appropriate password by the customer.

Combifit module allows users to create new images
by dragging and dropping multiple images onto a
page. The images can be sized, positioned, overlaid
and cropped. There are a series of extra tools such
as backgrounds, drop shadows, rotation and borders.
The arrangement of the images can be saved as a
template and reused many times. |
