A
typical dScope implementation for a school photography
organisation will include dScope Core, the Combifit
module, the Packages module and the Schools
and Groups Module.
Other modules that organisations may use are
the Shoot Manager and dScope Online.
dScope
works to remove all the labour intensive work
out of the business process and uses technology
to perform these functions more quickly and
efficiently. It uses a workflow approach that
allows users to follow a series of steps to
prepare for the shoot, capture the images, create
the product and then print and collate the product.
The steps in the system can be customised to
match the workflow used within your organisation
so that the cost and trauma involved in the
changeover to dScope can be minimised.
The
screen on the left shows a typical workflow
that has been setup for a schools photography
customer and leads them through the process
from importing the school's data through to
the printing and collating of the product.
This
workflow utilises many capabilities and components
of dScope to perform the required functions.
There are also a number of tools available to
quickly perform functions that traditionally
cost large amounts of time and money such as
merging and splitting of classes for composites,
changing the case of the student names across
a whole class or school, and exporting images
under the student name or student ID's.
