dScope Online solution allows any operation to place
items on the web and accept orders for those items.
Although the solution is tailored for selling images,
the system can be used to sell any item or service over
the web.
The
dScope Online solution has been developed in a partnership
between dScope and Abacus Design. It consists of a
website and the web module in dScope. dScope will
format any number of images and pass them to the website.
The images are sized, watermarked and sent to the
website through the internet. The website will then
take those images and incorporate them into a shopping
cart based system.
The
operator has total control of the grouping and pricing
of the images and other items on the website. The
graphic design of the website is custom built for
each site by Abacus Design.
dScope
Online is an extremely cost effective solution. You
can put your images, products and services onto the
web for sale with a total outlay of less than A$5,000,
(US$4,000, €3,000).
There are no ongoing costs other than hosting and
data transfer. Because you own the solution outright,
there are no 'fees per click' or 'fees per image'
to be paid. The site is totally controlled by you.
You can add, modify and remove products and services
on the site at any time without having to rely on
any third party.
