The
dScope Connector Modules allow dScope to communicate
directly with a number of different print devices. If
you have a print solution for which a connector is available,
you can import, manage and print all of your images
seamlessly from within dScope. If you have a print device
that does not have a connector you can submit your images
to a hot folder and print the product from there.
If
your business includes school or other forms of bulk
photography, the connector modules are extremely important
in minimising your workload. The connector modules are
designed to allow dScope to control the exact order
in which prints are produced from the lab. This allows
us to remove the very time (and therefore cost) consuming
collation step from your workflow. The prints coming
from your lab will be already collated and ready for
packing.
At
this stage there are connector modules for the following
devices:
- Agfa
dLab1, 2 and 3 or any model that supports dWorkflow.
- Fuji
Frontier printers that support the C8 solution.
- Konica
Minolta R2 and R3 (and some R1 implementations).
- Copal
Dye Sublimation printers (both copal branded and
rebranded versions including Kodak)
- Any
printer with a Windows interface.
Connector
modules are under development for the Noritsu range
of labs.
If
you have a print solution not currently supported by
dScope, please contact us with details and we will look
into creating a connector for your device.
