Download Retail
Kiosk Demonstrations
Retail
kiosk operators can download a full set of the retail
kiosk demos in high resolution. This is a large download
(40MB) and may take some time. To install these demonstrations
on a retail kiosk, unzip the downloaded file and copy
all the contents into a folder called 'demos' that sits
in the same folder as the program files. On most implementations
this will be C:\program Files\d-Scope Kiosk\Demos. If
that folder already exists, clear all the existing files
out of the folder before copying the new files in. If
the folder does not exist, create the folder and copy
the new demonstrations into it. The next time you start
the kiosk it will automatically recognise the new demonstrations.

here to download the demonstrations.

The
dScope Kiosk Suite is made up of three applications
which, together, create a full kiosk solution to match
for your business needs and offer your customer services
they cannot get elsewhere. The solution is made up of
three components.
The dScope Kiosk
| The
dScope kiosk program will turn any recent model
PC into a fully functional kiosk that can be run
in your business or remotely. The kiosk has a
wide range of functions that are designed to allow
customers to become more creative with their images.
These functions are designed to push customers
away from printing the standard 6X4's and into
printing larger sized prints. These larger sized
prints create a much greater profit margin for
the operator, as well as driving sales of albums
and frames. The kiosk has a very comprehensive
on screen help system driven by the "Professor".
This character is on the screen at all times offering
the customers clear help messages and access to
further help screens. he kiosk is available in
tow forms, with or without a customer database.
A full list of the functions supported by the
kiosks can be found on the following pages. Click
any of these buttons to see how the kiosk works. |

The dScope Kiosk Manager
| The
dScope manager is a mandatory component for any
organisation distributing the dScope Home Kiosk.
It manages all the orders coming from the home
kiosks, as well as the setup and maintenance of
all home kiosks.
The
Kiosk Manager interacts with your Home Kiosk site
on the internet and controls the appearance, pricing,
and other setting on every home kiosk that has
been distributed by you.
The
Kiosk Manager also processes all orders submitted
from Home Kiosk either singly or as a batch process
for all orders. |
