Event
photography normally presents two major problems
for operators.
-
Getting the full details of the customer associated
with the image, and
-
Getting the customers to view the images and
place orders.
dScope overcomes these issues in a number of different
ways so that you can work in the way that best
suits the environment and the customers, and thus
get the highest order rate possible for your work. |
| dScope
will give you the capability to show your customers
the images immediately after they are captured,
including multiple images captured involving a
single customer or group of customers. All images
are captured directly into a database where you
can record all the details of that customer if
those details are available. You can also record
all order information directly into the same database
on site where appropriate.
If
you are unable to generate orders at the time
of the shoot, dScope gives you the capability
to build and distribute product in a number of
different ways. The product can be distributed
by mail or even automatically sent out via email
with an attached order form.
Using
dScope Online you can also place your images up
on the web where customers can peruse and order. |
|
| The
screen on the left shows a typical workflow that
has been setup for a Santa photography customer.
It captures the customer images, contact and order
details during the shoot. The images can then be
adjusted and cropped. The ordered images are then
printed and collated ready for distribution. |
The
dScope Shoot Manager can also be used to manage your
customer relationships, support your sales process and
analyse the value of a customer over multiple years
and shoots. The
dScope Online solution is also available to place the
images onto the web and accept orders online.

and modification tools as well as being the central
component of the whole dScope Imaging suite. The

Imaging implementation. The Core module also contains
the capability to create 'Transforms'. |
| Package
Module |
The
Package module allow you to create package products
and package templates. The packages can have up
to twenty image boxes per page and the page can
have a background image assigned to allow special
branding or designs to be included. |
| Event
Module |
The
Events module is specifically for capturing images
at all kinds of functions and events. The system
allows you to capture a series of images for a particular
customer along with all the details of the customer.
The images can then be modified and prepared for
sale. You can create both packages and presentations
based on those images. The final product can be
printed for display, saved to file for display on
screen, or distributed by Email along with an order
form. The module is extensively used for Santa photos,
debutante balls, school formals, dance academies,
amateur theatre and any other appropriate function.
The module has also been used for capturing crowd
images at sporting events, attendees at charity
functions, restaurant nights and birthday parties. |
| Shoot
Manager |
The
Shoot Manager is a customer management and sales
support solution for organisations dealing with
schools, kindergartens, sports associations etc.
The module allows you to keep records of the customer
and all your interactions with that customer. You
can also store all the information associated with
shoots for that customer and analyse the financial
return gained from those shoots. |

to a number of commonly used print devices. Connectors
have been developed for the AGFA range of dLabs
(via dWorkflow), Konica Minolta labs (R2/R3), Fuji
Frontier labs (via C8), Copal Dye Sub printers,
