Event photography normally presents two major problems for operators.

  • Getting the full details of the customer associated with the image, and
  • Getting the customers to view the images and place orders.

dScope overcomes these issues in a number of different ways so that you can work in the way that best suits the environment and the customers, and thus get the highest order rate possible for your work.

dScope will give you the capability to show your customers the images immediately after they are captured, including multiple images captured involving a single customer or group of customers. All images are captured directly into a database where you can record all the details of that customer if those details are available. You can also record all order information directly into the same database on site where appropriate.

If you are unable to generate orders at the time of the shoot, dScope gives you the capability to build and distribute product in a number of different ways. The product can be distributed by mail or even automatically sent out via email with an attached order form.

Using dScope Online you can also place your images up on the web where customers can peruse and order.

The screen on the left shows a typical workflow that has been setup for a Santa photography customer. It captures the customer images, contact and order details during the shoot. The images can then be adjusted and cropped. The ordered images are then printed and collated ready for distribution.
